Principle of discipline
We are well aware of this word 'Discipline' but here it is important to go through it.
Discipline means sincerity, obedience, respect of authority & observance of rules and regulations of the of the organisation. There must be fair agreement between employees and management.
It also means meeting commitment at all levels,and judicious application of penalities.
Now what this principle is about, so here
'HENRI FAYOL' advocates that members of the organisation must obey, respect code of conduct, clear & fair agreement between employees and management.

EXAMPLE:-
The employees must honour their commitments towards the organisation by working effectively and efficiently on the other hand superior must also meet their commitments by meeting their promise of increments, promotion, wage, etc.
Advantages/positive effects of principle of discipline:-
- Systematic working.(All the work will be done by employees efficient and effective so in term systematic working).
- Improves performance. (As there is fair agreement between employees and the organisation so employees remain motivated)
- And one is itself motivation.
Disadvantages for violating principle of discipline:-
- No systematic working in the organisation. There will be confusion, and chaos.
- Lack of efficiency .(as management will not responsible for taking care of employees so they will not perform better.)
