Objectives of management  

Objectives are the end result for which all the activities in the organisation are taken objective must be achievable, measurable, understandable and clear.

Objectives of management can be classified into three major categories

Organisational objective 

Organisation objective is concerned to profit survival and growth of the organisation.

Profit

The basic purpose of every business is to ears sufficient profit full stop profit is essential for survival and growth of the business profit is the reward for which in the business is wearing the risk

Survival 

The most important objective of every business is to survive and exist in the market for a long period of time and it is possible only when it is able to cover its cost or expenses.

Growth 

A business need add to its profit and long run for this organisation must grow and expand to survive in a long runs. The success of any business is measured by growth rate and growth rate is measured in the terms of sales, number of branches, number of product, number of employees, etc.

Social objectives 

Social objective of any business is concerned with the Welfare and development of the society. 

The major social objectives are :

• Supply of quality product at reasonable price.
• Generation of economic wealth.
• Avoidance of pollution.
• Providing basic amenities like a school, Hospital, vocational training programs, etc.
• Financial support to the community.
• Providing employment opportunities to weaker section of society.
• Conducting business in lawful manner.
• Generating employment opportunities.

Personal / human / individual / employee objectives

Individual objectives are related to the Welfare and satisfaction of the employee in the organisation.

The main objectives are :

• Competitive salary to fulfill financial need of the employees.
• Providing development and career planning opportunities to the employee that is promotion training personal growth and other higher value courses that helps to level up the needs of employee. 
• Peer recognition, self respect, respective colleagues to fill fill their social need.
• Good and healthy working condition for employees. 
• Safety working condition for employees.
