Principle of Unity Of Command

Command refers to instruction or order from single superior. 

According to this principle Henri Fayol advocates employees should receive order from one superior at a time and accountable to one only.

☆ Advantages of following this principle:-

1. There will be no confusion among the mind of employees. 
2. No Ego clashes among employees. 
3. Improves effectiveness in working. 

☆ Disadvantages of violating this principle:-

1. Employees may sometimes get into confusion which leader is saying right. 
2. Ego clashes among employees.
3. Lack of effectiveness and efficiency.
